AFROTC at Kansas State University (Detachment 270) is a college program that prepares students to become officers in the U.S. Air Force and Space Force, while balancing normal student life with military training, leadership opportunities, and professional development.
Cadet for a Day (CFAD) is an opportunity for prospective students to experience what it’s like to be both a cadet and a college student. The event includes drill, leadership labs, classroom instruction, and interaction with current cadets and cadre.
